What this checks
How fast it loads on a phone, using Google's own measurement. Whether it is set up for phones at all. What Google sees when it looks at the page, and what it shows in search results. Whether the page slides sideways on a small screen. Whether it looks right when somebody shares it. And whether there is any obvious way to get in touch.
It does not tell you whether the site says the right thing to the right person. That needs somebody to read it, which is what the second bit is for.
