A December game for your team

Home for Christmas

Everyone starts snowed in at a different airport. One flight boards every morning from 1 December. Each right answer flies you closer to Heathrow, and the first one home wins.

How it plays

  • DailyA new flight boards at 7am, with five questions: travel and airports, general knowledge, and something festive. About two minutes a day.
  • ClockEach question has a 20 second countdown. When it runs out, the answers grey out and you lose that step, so there's no time to look it up.
  • MoneyEveryone starts with a £200 travel fund and earns £10 for every right answer, to spend at the ticket desk.
  • ChaosOne chaos card a week to play on a colleague: lost luggage, a snowstorm, or a screaming toddler. Travel insurance blocks one.
  • ListenEvery take-off has a crackly announcement from the captain with a clue hidden in it, and a bonus question about it after you land. Missed it? The crew will repeat it for £10.
  • StampsEvery airport you pass stamps your passport, with a fact about the place.
  • FlyEvery right answer moves your plane one step. It takes 100 steps to get home, so you can miss a few and still make it.
  • DelaysGet all five wrong and you're grounded for the day, with a reason on the board for everyone to enjoy.
  • Catch upMissed a day? Earlier flights stay open, so nobody drops out after a week off.
  • WinFirst to land at Heathrow wins. If it's a tie, the fastest answers overall take it.
